Viaduct Generation new website

I had the opportunity to work with Viaduct Generation, a London-based SEO agency that undergoing a rebrand and building a new website.

The website homepage needed to have branded interactive elements to guide user navigation and add visual interest that highlighted key elements of their new rebrand.

The key challenge of the build was designing and animating the 3D DNA strand with interactive cards. The design is complex, with nearly 200,000 polygons and lighting. The rotation of the strand when scrolling had to be responsive and not slow down loading times on Desktop or Mobile.

After trying a few web hosting platforms, Webflow became the best solution, offering Spline animation and interaction editing directly on the platform, meaning that developers and myselfcould adjust scroll length and 3D animation seamlessly when building the homepage.

‍

Being a complex build, this needed thorough testing and agile workflows to get right before the site publishing deadline.
