I recently had the opportunity to collaborate with Mama Irene Pasta, an award-winning Greek pasta brand, on launching their rebrand by Studio Melt

Their new branding, reflects the quality of the pasta and it's ingredient. You can find the pasta on menus across Michelin Star restaurants, and for sale in Paris' Galeries Lafayette.

The rebrand feautres a new illustration system, as well as an updated logo which were a joy to animate.

Challenge

Taking a new Brand Identity into Motion

Mama Irene had recently been rebranded by Studio Melt, a premium Branding agency with offices in Brazil and the USA. The rebrand gave a more realised and sophisticated positioning to Mama Irene Pasta, which reflected it's quality ingredients and use in high-end resorts and restaurants. Taking this new identity into animation was about balancing a more sophisticated design system whilst also trying to resonate with an audience who have previously bought the pasta for their children.

Results

Branding which reflected the quality of Mama Irene Pasta

Mama Irene is a more upmarket pasta brand, using organic ingredients, fresh vegetables and homemade methods. The brand reveal, using the new identiy managed to showcase the new packaging and design system as part of a fictional 'Mamaland', where illustrated characters and pasta shapes come together for form an immersive world to stage the redesigned product.
